On the edge of Salzburg
RAPS employs over 900 people, around 170 of them at Obertrum. This is a truly superb place to live and work, in the foothills of the Alps, between mountains and lakes. Around 20 kilometres from Salzburg, Obertrum is one of the consistently yet manageably growing communities around the state's administrative capital. The people from the town who work with us enjoy the happy situation of moving in the opposite direction to the rush-hour traffic – something that saves a great deal of time considering the constantly increasing volume of traffic. Lake Obertrum and the Mattsee are very close by (approx. 1 km and 8 km respectively) – an open invitation in summer to take a drive or walk down to the lake before going home after work. There are also plenty of opportunities in the area for cyclists and runners to enjoy a varied sporting programme.
In short, with its good transport connections, extensive infrastructure and lively restaurant scene, Obertrum with its 5000 inhabitants is one of the most attractive communities in the Salzburg area.
